Slip owners are asked to deduct this fee from the listed slip price. For example: Slip price minus TransientSlips.com online booking fee equals the amount paid to slip owner. Please note all rates and terms are negotiated on a case-by-case scenario. Though our default rate is 15% for smaller boat slips, TransientSlips.com’s rates can be negotiated as low as 5% for larger boat slips. You can also require additional deposits or fees.

Per transaction: Another option is a online booking fee. When a renter request to book your boat slip, we will charge them an online booking fee. This booking fee is negotiated between TransientSlips and you, the slip owner. For example: Slip price minus TransientSlips set online booking fee equals the price due at the slip location. You can also require additional deposits or fees.
Pay per click: In this scenario, your transient slip will have its own page with your contact information. If you have a website, there will be a link that directs potential slip renters to your website. Please note this option does not allow you to use our online reservation and booking calendar. When a potential renter clicks on your profile they will be directed to your website or directed to your TransientSlips.com page. When a renter clicks your profile/website you will be charged a negotiated fee.
